Using a crock pot makes this delicious meat meal without the work! This is my own recipe I created, please do not redistribute/copy this for any other reason other than making it. Thank you!
"Melt in your mouth Meatballs"
Crock pot
1 pound hamburger/turkey
1 egg
5-6 pieces of bread cut up into chunks
pinch of salt and pepper (to taste only)
can of cream of mushroom (low salt if preferred)
soy sauce
1 cup water (for moisture in meat)
In a large mixing bowl add the meat, egg, bread chunks, salt/pepper and mix together well. Form the meatballs and add to the crockpot, making them any size you prefer. Shake on the soy sauce, about enough to cover the meatballs (about 3/4 cup) add water to the crockpot so the meatballs don't go dry. Turn crockpot on low and cook about 7-8 hours, a half hour before done add the cream of mushroom soup, stir well, it makes a nice gravy (if you are having mashed potatoes on the side)
This recipe also works well in the oven too, do all as listed above, preheat oven at 350*. Add meatballs to pan, but add the soup too with the water, cover and cook about 1 1/2 hours (checking the meat after an hour)
